Sharing Our Lab Lessons

We make the mistakes so you don’t have to!
The Church Lab has a decade of experiments tried and lessons learned under our belt.
This helps equip us to share with others what we're learning.

We share our insights in the following ways:

Trainings & Workshops:

Are you interested in holding space for divisive conversations, whether that be in your workplace, classroom, family, or other environment? Our Navigating Divisive Conversations (NDC) workshop or facilitators training may be right for you!

Cohorts & Consults

  • Seminary Cohorts

  • Consultations

TCL is equipped to help others step into a more experimental mindset. We prioritize bold faithfulness, integrity and meaningful risk as part of the discernment process toward an organization's future.

TCL currently has a pastors’ cohort of ten pastors in the state of Texas. We meet every other month to support one another on the exciting (and sometimes risky!), rewarding (and sometimes draining!) journey of pastoring a church, and we consider ways to keep our churches innovative, alive and in tune with where God may lead. For a downloadable PDF detailing our pastors’ cohort, click here!

TCL currently has one seminary cohort with Austin Theological Seminary. This cohort goes by the name of SpirEnt - short for “spiritual entrepreneurship” and focuses on just that. We help the future leaders of the church and the academy find innovative ways to practice ministry. For a downloadable PDF on options for your seminary, click here!

Finally, we empower others to experiment on their own projects through our Empowering Experiments Mini-Grants! See more info on the grants here.
