The experience of incarceration and re-entry into society, as well as the system which incarcerates in the first place, provides a vast landscape of intense experiences we can explore with our faith lenses. Whether we examine what is just or unjust, traumatic, broken, hopeful or helpful, we will wonder together how our distinct faith lenses inform our approach to those who are or have been in the incarceration system, including if that describes ourselves.
